Health Advisory Regarding Ebola Concerns
Updated: May 2026
You may have seen news of an Ebola outbreak currently affecting DRC and Uganda. The strain identified, Bundibugyo virus, has so far remained confined to those two countries, and no confirmed cases have been reported in Kenya. The Kenyan government is on high alert, with heightened surveillance at points of entry and across health facilities.
However, it’s important to note that your time with us takes place in remote wilderness, far from the urban transit corridors where exposure risk is highest. We are still monitoring the situation carefully and following all official guidance closely.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns at all — we are always happy to assist.
